A Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

It's fall, y'all!  The whole Decker crew celebrated fall in a major way this weekend...we journeyed north to A'ville and Meridianville.  Sister was adamant about visiting "Tate Farms" to see their amazing pumpkin patch.  I have to admit I was a little hesitant about driving over an hour north to see a bunch of pumpkins, but boy was I blown away when we got there.  And the expression on DB's face in all the pictures made the trip completely worth it!

Momma and Daddy D just got back from Scotland on Wednesday...they brought DB her very own kilt...she loves it!

In honor of the whole crew being at home together, Daddy D popped open some bubbly!

Time for a day of family fun at "Tate Farms"!

After a full day at the pumpkin patch, it was time to relax...I whipped up these pizza bites that I found on Pinterest and Daddy D opened up some great vino for us!

Hope y'all are enjoying fall as much as we are...and an early Happy Halloween to everyone!

A Roadtrip and a Big Congratulations!

I hit the road yesterday morning and headed south to Aliceville, AL, to visit one of my favorite families...The Hamlins!  Chelsey is one of my best friends from college; she and her hilarious husband Andy, and PRECIOUS baby boy Andrew were sweet enough to host me for the weekend.  Chelsey is the hostess with the mostess...we ate, drank, played and watched a lot of football...it was a great weekend!

Loved their fall decor!

They recently updated their kitchen and it looks AMAZING!

I brought Andrew this dump truck...he is all boy!

The Hamlin house is a house divided...but yesterday he was ALL IN!  He loves to say, "Touchdown!"

We were excited for a golf-cart ride around town!

While on our golf-cart ride, we saw these beautiful horses!

This is only about 1/2 of the food we consumed!

Last weekend, an engagement happened that I have been waiting on to happen for a long time....Jessica and John are ENGAGED!!!!  I am beyond excited for them.  Caroline and I celebrated with her Wednesday night...we got to see her 'bling' and it is BEAUTIFUL!  Congrats, Jessica and John!

Matthew and Sarah's Wedding Weekend

Yesterday, my lifelong best guy friend tied the knot in Lexington, KY.  I think I've known Matthew as long as I've known my family.  We lived down the street from each other for years and carpooled to school everyday until middle school...needless to say, we know each other pretty well!  This wedding was double the fun because Matthew married one of my good girl friends from AU...Miss Sarah Asbury!  So I got to celebrate this weekend with my high school friends and my college friends!

Below is a picture of the "Terrific Trio"...The Groom (Matthew), me, Chris.  I think this picture is from our "Kiddie Kollege" graduation...it makes me laugh every time I look at it.  I don't think any of us have aged a bit!  :)

Since I try to be very honest on this blog, I just had to share this pic with y'all...I was SO excited to get a spray tan on Thursday and it looked great except for my left hand...look at the orangeness! hahahah

Lexington was absolutely beautiful!  The weather was great and I loved all the horses...I thought this sign in Sawyers was too cute!

Friday night there was a coctail party at the Idle Hour Country Club...it was gorgeous!  Britt drove up from ATL for the celebration!

This girl is one of my favorite people in the whole world...Mrs. Katelyn Tidwell...she and her hubby Whitey flew up from DeFuniak Springs, FL to join the par-tay!

The Bride-to-Be was glowing!

High school pic!
Steven, Matthew, Chris, Chase, Kinzi and me

Time for the wedding!

Matthew and Sarah's first dance!

Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Bishop!  The weekend was a BLAST and I am so glad I was able to celebrate with y'all.  I think I had a little too much fun...it's going to take a few days to fully recover from all the celebrating!   :)
