Merry and Bright!

The Decker family had a very merry and bright Christmas.  It came and went in a blur, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

We made it to the Crowe's house Christmas morning bright and early...this DB was all smiles when we got there!

What can I say, she takes after her Gigi!  We snapped pictures together all day!

Baby Libby pretty much snoozed through all the present opening!

We had presents everywhere!

I gave DB this sleeping bag...so cute!

She LOVED her new doll house!

Santa brought DB "Ariel" hair..Blake tried it out for us and it had us laughing all day!

Sister and I were THRILLED to get our Haul Couture bags...and even more excited that the one we were given is named the "Laura" bag in honor of our favorite Chi O, Aunt Laura Casey!

Sister and Blake gave Daddy D the "Gene" jacket!

DB loved her princess poster!

After Christmas, we went up to Chattanooga to do Christmas with my Dad's family...DB got some super-cute owl stuff...the umbrella was her favorite!

DB wasn't the only person who received some super-cute owl gifts...look at this adorable kitchen timer Aunt Vicki gave me!

I've enjoyed my Christmas va-cay to the fullest...I'm soaking up as much time with my "girls" as I possibly can...loved their matching snowflake outfits!

I've been working with DB on how to play Candyland...we'll get there one day! ahah

Today, we had a "Pajama/Movie Day" at my house...Sister and the girls came over in their cutest PJs and we watched "Finding Nemo"!

I hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed holiday...I know I sure did!

'Tis the Season!

I have definitely been in the Christmas spirit this year.  I try to change up my decorations every year...this year I added garland around my front door, made an earthy garland arrangement for my mantle and (thanks to Pinterest) made a peppermint hurricane globe.  Enjoy a few pics of my decor!

Last year, I started a tradition with DB...decorating a gingerbread house.  Sunday afternoon, we sat down and decorated ours for this year...I think DB did more eating and dropping tiny candies all over Sister's kitchen than actually decorating!  We made a "K" on the roof so that Santa would know it was her house!

Sunday afternoon DB and I met up with Tara, Blair and her Nonna to ride the "North Pole Express"!  The girls wore matching polka-dotted owl pajamas and Uggs...they were ADORABLE!  With the exception of a few melt downs, the girls really enjoyed it!  If I'm being honest, I think I enjoyed it as much as DB did.  And most of all, I enjoyed sharing this new and fun experience with her-just the two of us!

Of course the girls had to get "treats" when we got there...Blair got "Tasha" and DB got "Frosty"!

I hope this picture is framed in their dorm room one day!

Once we finally boarded the train, the girls were in awe of the Christmas lights and music!

Once we arrived at the "North Pole", the elves came on board and passed out gifts!  DB got up and danced with them!

Santa and Mrs. Claus!

DB, I had the best time taking you to the "North Pole"!

Well, Christmas va-cay has offically begun!  After the past couple of weeks, I really thought today would never get here!  In case I don't do another post before Christmas, I hope that Santa finds each and every one of you and that you have a wonderful and blessed holiday!  Merry Christmas blogosphere!
