Halloween

For Halloween this year, DB dressed up as Doc McStuffins.  In true Crowe girl theme, Lish was her "Lamby".  And if you know Libby, it was appropriate in more ways than one!  Despite the rain, the girls had a great time trick or treating!

The Doc is in!!

All dressed up and ready to go!

This pic just says it all!

I made it in time for a quick pic!

Crowe family!

The Deckers Do the Plains

Last weekend, all the Deckers loaded up and headed south to the Loveliest Village on the Plains...our favorite place, Auburn.  It was Libby's first trip and boy did she love it!  We loved walking around town, buying tons of game day gear and having a few adult beverages and of course, a game dog.  It was truly a perfect day.  So glad our girls will grow up experiencing the magic and wonderfulness that is Auburn...we wouldn't want it any other way!

They had on their cheerleading outfits and were ready to cheer on our Tigers!

We loved the atmosphere at Moe's!

Sister and her girls!

K loved doing some gymnastics on the Cater lawn!

Fun on the concourse!

Kat and Pat!

Time for Tiger Walk!!!

We had a great time at the Alumni tent with the cheerleaders!

My favorite part...here comes the band!!

Thank you GrandBobby and Dee Dee for a wonderful trip to Auburn...already looking forward to next year's trip.  Oh and War Eagle, y'all!   :)

October Recipe Club

I hosted Recipe Club this month and branched out and tried a new cookbook for my theme.  I had heard great things about a cookbook from Texas...Stop and Smell the Rosemary.  So, I ordered it and read through all the recipes and fell in love with it.  All the recipes turned out great!  All of the recipes are over on our blog...check them out!  Happy cooking!

I went with a Halloween/fall theme!

Boo juice!

All of our recipes for the night came out of this wonderful cookbook!

I made Chicken Tortilla soup and served it in individual bread bowls!

Sister made Italian Tortellini soup...I served both soups as the first course!

Lauren's Blue Cheese Puffs

Sarah's Spinach and Apple Salad

Caron's Baked Spinach

Ashley's Toasted Corn Pudding

Jordan's Potatoes Au Gratin

Rhonda's Herbed Beer Bread

Dede's Creamy Fudge Pie

Our group doing what we do best...drinking and laughing!

Soccer Fun

Katherine is playing soccer for the first time this year.  Her team is call the "Sparkling Crushers"....insert laughter!  I was very curious to see how she did in her game.  Katherine is speedy...she has long skinny legs like her dad and they move her across the field at a fast rate!  She's no Mia Hamm, but she is doing pretty well with it and seems to be enjoying it.  And I have to admit, she looks pretty cute in her pink shin guards and cleats!

On the move!

Libby tried to entertain herself during the game by talking on Dee Dee's phone!

She's not afraid of the boys!

Go, DB!

She had a breakaway goal!

Running through the tunnel was her favorite part!

Lishious was ready to go!

Looking forward to many more soccer games!
