Spring Festival

It's hard to believe that this was my 3rd Spring Festival with my Doodle-Bug.  When I first brought her, she was too scared to ride the rides by herself and was even hesitant to get in the big bouncy houses without one of us.  Wow how things have changed!  Sister and I just stand back and watch her go! And if I didn't know her, I would think she's one of the big kindergarten students at my school...where has the time gone?

The excessive heat on Saturday didn't slow us down!  We enjoyed rides, games and a few super-cold ice cream treats!

Front row all by herself!

Whitney's Baby Shower

This past weekend, I was honored to help host a baby shower for my sweet friend, Whitney.  I've known Whitney a long time...since she came through Rush at AU.  She was my "find" during rush (she's from Little Rock).  Sadly she wasn't an owl with us, but I've always felt like she has been a part of our group.  Whitney is one of those people who you just adore instantly; she's hysterical and has the sweetest personality.

She and Mark are having a baby girl-Carter Kate Brown, in just a few weeks!  Casey hosted us at her beautiful home and the shower was filled with love, lots of pink presents and great family and friends!

The mommy-to-be was glowing and in a suuuuuper cute outfit!

Dr. Brown bottles for Baby Brown!

Hostesses

Whitney's grandmother, Sister and Mother...I don't know when I've seen a family more excited to welcome a baby into their family!  They are the sweetest!

Whitney, I am so excited for you and Mark...Baby Carter will have the coolest parents on the block!  Can't wait to meet her and watch her grow...Love you, Whitney!

Easter

Easter is by far our favorite holiday.  Dee Dee goes all out and pulls out all the bells and whistles for the Bunny!  I took off work on Friday and we all went to Chattanooga to see our family.  We also got to see our Huntsville family on Sunday.  It was a wonderful weekend filled with tons of food, presents and laughter!

We started the weekend off on Thursday night with treats from GrandBobby and Dee Dee!

We visited Mimi at her assisted living home and participated in a huge egg hunt!

This has to be one of the best pictures...ever!

So thankful we got to visit with our Mimi!

Saturday morning started off with egg dyeing in the kitchen!

We loved the pretty weather and enjoyed exploring Grand Bobby and Dee Dee's yards!

The girls loved all the one-on-one time they got with their grandparents!

We had at least 15 egg hunts in 3 days!

The Easter Bunny hopped over to East Main and brought the girls lots of goodies!

Katherine is ready to hit the courts!

Lish loved her new Minnie goggles....bring on summer!

Nothing makes me happier than everyone dressed up in their Easter best!

After church and a delicious meal compliments of Dee Dee, we all took it outside to enjoy the sun and of course, some more egg hunting!

The white jeans are out in full force now...woo hoo!  Happy Spring, y'all!
