Spring Festival

For weeks I have been planning to take my DB to my school's Spring Festival.  I just knew she would love it...cotton candy, rides, games...what's not to love?!  I went so far as to even buy her an "event t-shirt"!  Sister matched her outfit to a "t" and she looked adorable.  I hope this is a tradition that will continue for many years to come!

Excited for all the fun to begin!

She got halfway up the tall bouncy house and screamed for help...so Gigi came to the rescue!

I may have had just as much fun as her!

She didn't quite get the hang of the bean bag toss...

But she totally knew how to navigate all the bouncy houses!

Putt-Putt!

Fun on the train!

So this is where the sickness starts...she was dying to ride this ride.  I don't ride roller coasters at all, but I couldn't let her ride by herself.  So...I gave in and rode it with her.  I about DIED!

I think this pic says it all...it's a wonder there wasn't vomit all over the ride.  The flying twisty was WAY too much for me!

She loved the cotton candy...

and the swings...

and the slides!

We finished our day with another go up the "big bouncy"...and she did it all by herself!

DB, I had the best time with you at the spring festival.  I am super proud of you for riding the "super scary" rides...your fearless attitude amazes me.  I'm already looking forward to next year's festival...love you!

Libby's Baptism

On this day 28 years ago, I was baptized....this morning, Libby was baptized wearing the same heirloom gown that Sister and I wore for our special days.  The day could not have been more special and blessed.  All of our family and the Crowe family were in attendance for the baptism and for the wonderful lunch Sister and Momma D prepared.  Sister busted out her silver, china and crystal and left no detail untouched.

Libby was excited for her big day!

She didn't cry at all!

GrandBobby and DeeDee along with Cookie and Chief gave these flowers in honor of Libby...they were beautiful!

We all arrived at the Crowe's nest to see this beautiful cross on the door!

God Bless Libby!

Sister made a collage of all the baptisms in the Decker and Crowe family...can you pick out which one is me?!

Libby's cake was made by the Albertville Home Bakery and it was DELICIOUS!  The Home Bakery, in my opinion, makes the best cakes EVER!

Libby, what a special day it was.  You are a beautiful child of God and I look forward to watching you grow up in the church...I love you!            :)
